All Ireland League Division 2 North Champions

This years All Ireland Season was a stunning success with not a single game lost and very few points given away. Unfortunately the play off again AIL 2S winner’s Portlaoise was not as successful.

Our sponsors, The Front Row Union, covered the game in this report:

CUSAI Women’s Rugby Tournament 2013 at Queen’s

This year we are lucky enough to be hosting the CUSAI Women’s Rugby Intervarsity competition. It will be held at Queen’s Sport at Upper Malone on Tuesday 26th March and Wednesday 27th March 2013 and the tournament will be divided into Division 1, 15 a side, and Division 2, 13 a side. This competition draws university and college teams from across Ireland and promises to be an excellent two days of rugby. Information packs will be sent out at the beginning of February and we will update this page and the Queen’s University Belfast Rugby Football Club (QUBRFC) facebook page as more information becomes available.

Rounding the season with a physical and mentally exhausting match under the newly discovered sun of Letterkenny Queens has finished the season with an undefeated record, and the title of League Champs of 2012. With this victory many new doors are now opened for the young team for the coming season of 2012/2013. Yet, before they embark on this new trial the season is yet to be finished with the approaching inter-varsities competition on the 28th and the 29th of March, and Carrick 7′s on May 1st. Prospects are aimed high at rounding the season up with more strong results.
